SHIRLEY COMER WASHINGTON EILAND
COUNSELOR

Shirley Comer Washington Eiland is a born again believer who met the Lord on January 18, 1993.  She is happily married to Roy Eiland.  She is a proud mom of two sons.  Melvin Howland Washington, who went home to be with the Lord in 2013 and Bishop Myrondous Alan Washington who resides in Atlanta Georgia.  She has one (1) loving grandson, Melvin Howland Washington Jr., three (3) beautiful granddaughters, Myla Alan Washington, Alahna Rose Washington and Myrissa Yvette Washington.  She has three loving step daughters, Vonda Eiland, Kimberly Crawford and Raven Eiland.

Almost immediately after being converted, God allowed her to teach an adult weekly bible study and serve as president of the youth and adult choirs in the church where she grew up.  She was later directed by God to start a community bible study.  She also served in a nursing home ministry.  In 2003 she served as teacher for New Life School of Ministry Christian Workers class.

God privileged her to be a member at New Life Christian Center for over 20 years under the great leadership of Pastors Auzzie and Cheryl Comer where she served as leader of the Missionary team, leader of Intercessory team, taught the authority of the believers new members class and served as an alternate for the church praise team.

In May 2007, she relocated to Atlanta Georgia where she joined Agape Global Church where her son Bishop Myrondous Washington was pastor.  Under his dynamic leadership, she was ordained as elder, humbly served as Intercessory Prayer leader and executive pastor.

She is the author of her first book entitled “You Will Survive”.

She presently serves as the Pastor of “The House of Healing Worship Center in Tuskegee Alabama.

Her passion is to win the lost and teach the redeemed the finished work of the cross.  She knows God has called her to pastor The House of Healing and to evangelize the region.  She also loves teaching the Word of God.  She presently teaches a bible class once per week at Harvest Evangelism home for women.

God has mandated her to be the founder and counselor of Redeeming Love Help Center that ministers to the lost and hurting.

She retired from the City of Opelika as Purchasing Agent and now dedicates her life to preaching the Gospel.  She passionately loves her family and enjoys homemaking in her spare time.
